Dricon® Fire Retardant Treated Trusses
Dricon Fire Retardant Treated (FRT) Wood is an interior Class A fire retardant. It is both an effective and economical material for reducing the effects of a fire. Building code organizations and related agencies recognize it as an alternative to noncumbustible materials in many applications.
Trusses built with Dricon FRT wood provide greater design latitude for both architects and engineers, since they remove many of the traditional barriers associated with masonry and steel. Given the continued cost increases in steel and sprinkler systems, Dricon trusses are being specified in a growing number of construction situations.
Dricon products are backed by a 40 year limited roof system warranty when both Dricon trusses and plywood are used together.
